Kathleen Loucks

Kathleen moved from the northeast to Durham, NC in 2002, and came to Tarboro when she married Roger in 2011. She is a family nurse practitioner, a health coach, and a pilates teacher. Kathleen received her Yoga Alliance 200 hour Teacher Training from Transcending Yoga in Swansboro, NC in 2012. Kathleen has studied gentle, restorative, senior and chair yoga and has certifications in yin, iRest and aerial yoga. She is currently pursuing her 300 hour yoga training at the Guiding Wellness Institute in Fayetteville. Kathleen especially enjoys working with people who are new to yoga or have health challenges, sharing the many joys and benefits of a yoga practice. She is the loving mother and servant to three dogs, step-mom to three incredible daughters, and cherishes every minute she has with her grandson. Her favorite yoga pose is cobbler’s pose (buddha konasana in sanskrit), which is one of the best hip openers ever!
